Why is coconut oil good for you?

People ask me this question alot and I never have the answer on the tip of my tongue. Me, being the queen of "why" questions, should know this already!
Everyone is so concerned with saturated fats and how unhealthy they are for you. But the foods most of America is currently eating is not filled with saturated fats. The foods you are eating contain either polyunsaturated or partially hydrogenated fats and these are what are making us sick.

Coconut oil has a laundry list of benefits and here are just a few:

Reduces risk of cancer and other degenerative conditions.
Helps prevent bacterial, viral, and fungal (including yeast) infections.
Supports immune system function.
Helps control diabetes.
Provides an immediate source of energy.
Improves digestion and nutrient absorption.
Supplies fewer calories than other fats.
Promotes weight loss.
Helps prevent osteoporosis.
Is heat resistant (the healthiest oil for cooking).
Helps keep skin soft and smooth. (Put in your bath!)

**How you can incorporate your coconut oil everyday-use it for stir fry, fry your eggs or chicken or burgers, pancakes, salad dressing etc.

PS-did you know if you raise your animal protein and healthy fat intake and skip the sugar you can lose weight? Try it.
