Sorry Agave lovers...

News is...it's not that great for you. Sorry. This is what you have to look out for when you are watching tv- if they start over marketing something like soy or agave, take a close look at it. It's not as good for you as they want you to believe.

Agave sugar is worse for you than Corn Syrup. I mean if you are going use agave, you may as well start drinking soda with every meal and add some Nutrasweet while your at it. Why is it so bad? It's the fructose. It has about 55% fructose which metabolizes in the liver. I started using Stevia awhile back and I really like it. Stevia is all natural and has ZERO calories. You only need a little because its super sweet. (So don't pour the whole Stevia packet in your coffee).


PS-I've heard if you are going to eat fruit, which also has alot of fructose, eat it as a dessert only.
