Eating is a treat not just a necessity!

Nutrition is like religion...

...You can't say anything without offending someone.

Look, I know I'm not a doctor of anything, I haven't had college training on nutrition, I never went to Naturopathic/Homeopathic school...I know this and I admit this. But let's talk logically. You eat a ton of sugar you get a cavity right? So, a cavity is just ONE way your body rejects sugar. Think for a minute about how many other internal organs reject sugar? Don't you get tired? Don't you get headaches? How about all the cancer that's in this country? Aren't there times when you feel lost, uninspired, annoyed, fearful, antsy, frustrated? All these emotions are normal on occasion but when they carry out day to day, just ask yourself-could these emotions be triggered by something I'm eating?

Don't get me wrong, I will have my occasional ice cream and I'm trying desperately to cut out sugar coated ginger, but when I eat that stuff... I feel crappy afterwards. I get moody, tired, annoyed, sweaty, etc. I have to be real careful what I say here and everywhere. I never want to offend anyone. But one thing I know for sure, it is possible to live a dis-ease free life if we take a look at how we eat.

PS- I mentioned cancer above because I was told (and I trust this Naturopath wholeheartedly), that we all have cancer cells in our body. Cancer cells love sugar and multiply from it. You follow?
PPS- Drinking a can of soda full of high fructose corn syrup, is the same thing as drinking a beer. They both matabolize in the liver. I think of that everytime I see kids drinking sodas.
